The case is flat-packed and assembled by screwing together the front and back acrylic panels with the sides, using the 12 fittings and screws provided. The lid is placed on top. The model is placed onto the base, which is available in black or white. The clear case is then placed over the model and locates onto the base. Made from 3mm thick clear acrylic. The base has space to fit 22x22 studs.

It can also be stacked on top of similarly sized products to accommodate a larger collection.
