But the real star of the show here is the unique 'transforming' design of the house. It's a first for LEGO, as you can pull the corners of the house apart to instantly convert it into Vecna's interdimensional Mind Lair.
We've had the chance to build LEGO Stranger Things: The Creel House for ourselves - so what did we think of that process?

What's the build process like?
First and foremost, that transformation effect is done incredibly well. This set is really robust and feels rock-solid, so when it comes to transforming from the Creel House to the Mind Lair, it really doesn't feel like any parts are about to fall off, which is a credit to the designer.
It's a fun and creative build that even surpasses the legendary LEGO Lord of the Rings Barad-dur (10333) for sheer enjoyment. If you're a Stranger Things fan, the Creel House is an absolute must-have.

The attention to detail throughout is outstanding. The room interiors are incredibly immersive, with a heap of thoughtful finishing touches that add moments of delight to the build process right the way through.
But it's the care and creativity of the set that really shine, especially during that unique transformation effect. It's strong and sturdy and more than 'just' a LEGO display set - this build is a true masterpiece!

Our impressions of the build
We finished this build in a single evening, and that's not because it was fast - it's because it was fun.
A really strong LEGO build gives you no place to stop. LEGO The Creel House (11370) is a REALLY strong build, with easter eggs every step of the way both in the pieces you put together, and in the building instructions booklet.

The techniques involved are incredibly satisfying for an experienced builder, with cleverly engineered hidden mechanisms to achieve the expansion effect. They're built into the build at key points and crucially, they function flawlessly.
Overall, this gives the impression of a masterful design process. Nothing is left unfinished and nothing feels unnecessary - every piece of the 2,593 total has its purpose and its place.

What are the problem points?
As you may have guessed - there really are no problem points with this build. It wowed us from the very beginning and just continued to satisfy and delight us to the very end, including the first time we tried the transformation effect for ourselves.
The price might be off-putting for some people - and we do appreciate it won't be in everybody's budget. But if you're a Stranger Things fan and you're able to get a hold of this set, GET IT.
We honestly would say The Creel House is a MUST HAVE for fans, and a worthy investment of time and money. The end result is a fantastic which is made even better by showcasing it in one of our spectacular LEGO Creel House display cases.
