Go Back to Hogwarts with LEGO Harry Potter!

September isn't just 'back to school' month - it's also Back to Hogwarts month, with great deals, events and special offers on LEGO Harry Potter sets!

It's the time of year when the LEGO Harry Potter theme takes centre stage, as builders everywhere are encouraged to join in the LEGO Back to Hogwarts celebration.

With the new school year beginning for wizards and Muggles alike, LEGO has come up with a week of events and offers, making this the perfect opportunity to add to your LEGO Harry Potter display.

Let's take a look at some of what's in store for September 1st-7th as part of the LEGO Back to Hogwarts event.

Magical in-store experiences

LEGO Stores will be hosting a week-long schedule of "magical play experiences" until Sunday September 7th, including the chance to build and keep a LEGO Harry Potter Butterbeer Truck in-store on September 6th and 7th.

For stores in the UK and Ireland, these extremely limited build sessions are scheduled for:

10am - Noon on Saturday September 6th
Noon - 2pm on Sunday September 7th

It's first-come, first-served and the Butterbeer Truck set will not be available to buy. So if you're out and about making the most of the final days of summer holidays, a visit to your local LEGO Store is a must for all Harry Potter fans!

If you're elsewhere in Europe, please check with your local store to see when this promotion will be available, as times and dates vary.

New LEGO Harry Potter sets

Regular readers of our news updates will already know about the six new LEGO Harry Potter sets that landed in June of this year:

LEGO Harry Potter Fawkes: Dumbledore's Phoenix (76448) is a 299-piece set for builders aged 8+ and includes a brick-built Fawkes complete with perch, Sword of Gryffindor, Sorting Hat and Baby Fawkes.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class (76445) is a very cute buildable greenhouse playset with LEGO Minifigures of Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom and Professor Sprout. It's a 390-piece build, again for ages 8+.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Sign GWP (5009867)

This collectible metal ornament measures in at 7 x 7 x 3cm (H x W x D) and is free with purchases of LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village - Collectors' Edition (76457) while stocks last.

Hogsmeade Village (76457) is brand new, with a release date of Thursday, September 4th, so you'll only have a few days to get your hands on this LEGO Harry Potter GWP, valued at £14.99.

LEGO Harry Potter Quidditch Lesson GWP (30706)

This GWP is valued at £3.49, but it comes free with orders of £35 or more from the LEGO Harry Potter theme. It may only have 27 pieces, but it really makes them count.

Put it together and you're ready to recreate the Quidditch Lesson scene, with a LEGO Harry Potter Minifigure and a Golden Snitch element - a nice little bonus if you're shopping from the LEGO Back to Hogwarts event.

LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle: Room of Requirement GWP (40770)

Valued at £16.99 and available with purchases of £115 or more, Room of Requirement (40770) is a 202-piece LEGO Harry Potter GWP and can combine with other modular Hogwarts Castle sets as part of your ever-growing LEGO Harry Potter display.

It's surprisingly detailed, with a Neville Longbottom Minifigure, two hammocks, and the ability to slot the finished set into a vacant space in LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle: The Main Tower (76454).

All three LEGO Harry Potter Gifts with Purchase are available until the end of the Back to Hogwarts event on Sunday September 7th.
