LEGO House: Exclusive Sets Over The Years
With six exclusive LEGO House sets to collect, we look back at previous releases and 2025's LEGO Fabuland Tribute (40506).

LEGO House is described as 'Home of the Brick', but you could easily call it Willy Wonka's Brick Factory. It spans 12,000 square metres in its hometown of Billund, Denmark and is filled with 25 million LEGO bricks.
For fans lucky enough to step inside, the ultimate experience centre awaits. Giant LEGO plants, animals and even waterfalls can be found within, perfectly capturing the spirit of play and learning that continues to inspire LEGO designers today.
Among all of this adventure and education, there are a handful of exclusive LEGO House sets to take home as souvenirs from the LEGO store. The sixth, LEGO Fabuland Tribute (40506), launched on March 1st 2025.
So, what is LEGO Fabuland, and what can you expect from LEGO 40506? Let's take a look at this LEGO House exclusive set, as well as a look back at the previous five instalments in this souvenir series.

The sixth annual LEGO House exclusive set was introduced in March. LEGO Fabuland Tribute (40506) is a celebration of LEGO's Fabuland theme, which stayed in production for a decade from 1979 to 1989.
Fabuland was a first for the LEGO Group, as it introduced creative storytelling alongside the brick builds themselves. Builders of that generation may have fond memories of characters like Clive Crocodile, Edward Elephant, Joe Crow and Dr Lucy Lamb.
This new set features all four characters, updated to include modern-day LEGO techniques. It was designed by LEGO senior designer Markus Rollbuhler and LEGO House master builder Stuart Harris.
Kathrine Kirk Muff, managing director of LEGO House, said: "It's truly one of the highlights of my year, seeing what Stuart and the team of historians bring forward as the annual LEGO House Exclusive product."
Why pay tribute to LEGO Fabuland?
Ms Muff explained the importance of Fabuland in LEGO's history: "Creating stories is at the core of LEGO House, and celebrating the most iconic moments in time throughout the LEGO Group's history is key to the concept of our exclusive products.
"On a personal note, I played a lot with the original Fabuland sets, and I am filled with nostalgia and excitement to see my childhood memories being brought back to life."
She added that the LEGO House Exclusive sets are intended to be a "unique keepsake" for builders who make the journey from all over the world to Billund to visit the LEGO House in person.
What's unique about LEGO Fabuland Tribute?
This set pays homage to a unique feature of the 1979-89 LEGO Fabuland sets. In those, the building instructions contained a short story which showed the characters themselves assembling the set.
In line with this tradition, the 2025 LEGO Fabuland Exclusive set contains illustrated assembly instructions with original drawings by LEGO House associate master builder Didac Perez.
Each of the four characters can be assembled individually, allowing the set to be shared between friends and family. You could even race to see who can complete their character first!
What is the legacy of the LEGO Fabuland theme?
LEGO House master builder Stuart Harris added: "Fabuland holds a very sentimental place in my heart. Having spent so much time with our history collection and product archive, I was always captivated by the series.
"You can really see the influence it had on the storytelling themes of future series from the LEGO Group, including LEGO NINJAGO, LEGO Friends, LEGO Bionicle and more.
"From reimagining each character to designing the storybook that comes alongside the product, it is an absolute honour to bring them to life once more in the form of this sixth edition of our LEGO House series."
Previous LEGO House Exclusive sets
Let's run through the previous five editions in the LEGO House Exclusive series, plus an honourable mention of a LEGO House set that you won't need to travel to Billund to get hold of.
2024: LEGO Building Systems (40505)
Last year's LEGO House Exclusive set was a three-in-one display piece celebrating the iconic trio of LEGO Building Systems (40505). It also spanned the decades as it featured recreations of three milestone sets from years gone by:
- 1955: Town Plan No. 1 from LEGO System
- 1977: 853 Car Chassis from LEGO Technic
- 1980s: DUPLO train sets
The set's backdrop, a grey brick wall, is also a subtle nod to the LEGO House itself. It hides a timeline of teeny-tiny builds of further iconic sets, with an empty 20th space to add your own nano-scale MOC.
2023: A Minifigure Tribute (40504)
The iconic (and surprisingly charismatic) LEGO Minifigure was introduced in 1978. To celebrate 45 years of those little yellow men and women, 2023's LEGO House Exclusive set was A Minifigure Tribute (40504).
A fan favourite, Captain Redbeard, was chosen as the star of this set, although at 30cm tall and containing 1,041 LEGO bricks, it's fair to say he's grown a bit since his last appearance!
2022: Dagny Holm - Master Builder (40503)
You might not know the name of Dagny Holm, but she is an important figure in LEGO history. Not just the niece of the company's founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen, she was also the first-ever LEGO master builder.
Ms Holm died on March 1st 2004 at the age of 70, which means the traditional annual launch date of new LEGO House Limited Edition sets also marks the anniversary of her death.
2021: The Brick Moulding Machine (40502)
LEGO House Exclusive The Brick Moulding Machine (40502) is an interesting set. This one honours the machinery that makes injection-moulded plastic LEGO bricks possible.
Visitors to the LEGO House will have seen a specially slowed-down brick moulding machine in action. This produces batches of just six bricks, which are given to each guest along with their own unique combination of how to assemble them - there are 915,103,765 different possibilities!
2020: The Wooden Duck (40501)
The set that started it all, in more ways than one. 2020's LEGO House Exclusive The Wooden Duck (40501) was a tribute to one of the first-ever LEGO products, a painted and varnished wooden duck.
While this wasn't strictly the first exclusive set to be sold at the LEGO House, it was the first annual limited edition release, as marked by the 4050 series number.
LEGO House Dinosaurs (40366)
Finally, visitors to the LEGO House will find it hard to miss the three life-sized brick-built dinosaurs that welcome guests. LEGO House Dinosaurs (40366) is slightly scaled down, at about 7" tall, but is otherwise a great representation of the fearsome trio.
With a red dinosaur to represent DUPLO, a green figure for LEGO System and a yellow LEGO Technic version, articulated limbs, jaws and tails, plus individual display stands with two dino eggs each, it's a fun build with 865 pieces, and it's available to buy online (NOT a LEGO House Exclusive) priced at £74.99.
Have you visited the LEGO House, and did you manage to pick up one of these exclusive sets?
