LEGO Sets Retiring Soon January 2026 Round-Up: BrickHeadz, Vehicles and Kids' Characters

Barely a month goes by without some new additions to the list of LEGO sets retiring soon. January 2026 is no exception, with 10 much-loved sets soon to be consigned to the second-hand market.

We've put them into three groups: LEGO BrickHeadz, Iconic Vehicles, and Kids' Characters.

Heroic LEGO BrickHeadz

Our first group of last-chance LEGO sets contains four LEGO BrickHeadz builds, with six characters in total.

We love LEGO BrickHeadz sets. They're quick and easy to build, packed with quirky character and they look great (and fit great!) on bookshelves, nightstands and messy desks. You don't have to be a fan of Disney Pixar's Turning Red to find this little cutie irresistible. LEGO BrickHeadz Red Panda Mei (40798) is a charming build in her own right.

There's interactivity in this build, with folding legs and moving ears, so you have the choice to play with it or just keep it as a super cute LEGO BrickHeadz display.

Again, a display case for 1x LEGO BrickHeadz will be a welcome addition if you want to show this set at its best, without needing to dust it on a daily basis.

For less than a tenner, the clearance price on this set is excellent value. You get two absolutely iconic cartoon characters who have delighted audiences for over 85 years. Tom is shown wielding a hammer (look out, Jerry!) while Jerry is holding a lit matchstick to set fire to Tom's tail!

It's great that the Jerry figure is slightly smaller than normal BrickHeadz size - 6cm instead of 8cm - so he looks right alongside the regular-sized Tom figure. You can still showcase them in a display box for two LEGO BrickHeadz - Jerry will just have a bit more headroom to make these animated enemies your star attraction!

5. LEGO Creator London Bus (40220)

This dinky double-decker has been around for nearly a decade since its release in June 2016, but the bell has been rung for it to make its final stop.

It's a surprisingly detailed build for its size, with transparent windows, turning wheels, and stickers for the registration plate, destination sign, and advertising banners. Those adverts are a cute extra touch - they pay homage to LEGO Creator Big Ben (21013) and LEGO Creator Palace Cinema (10232), making this the perfect companion piece to either.

LEGO says this set is of a size where "it can be played with at home or taken on a play date". At barely a fiver, its clearance price is pocket-friendly too.

7. LEGO DUPLO Police Motorcycle (10967)

And finally, we come to LEGO DREAMZzz Izzie and Bunchurro the Gaming Bunny (71490), a stylish set based on the LEGO DREAMZzz TV series.

With over 250 pieces for the reduced price of £8.99, you get a brick-built Bunchurro figure, an Izzie LEGO Minifigure, a Cyberling and a Dreamling Carrot, with two build options for Bunchurro: a skateboard or a jetpack.

Bunchurro is completely posable, and Izzie can attach to the back of the figure, while the story-led building instructions aim to encourage imaginative play too.
