NEW LEGO Nike Air Max Sneakers Hit The Ground Running

Nike's revolutionary Air Max technology launched on March 26th 1987, a date celebrated each year as Air Max Day. This time around, those celebrations brought the latest drop from the ongoing LEGO x Nike Partnership: Nike Air Max 95 sneakers with LEGO branding.

It's all part of an unlikely partnership that combines the creativity of LEGO with the sporting legacy of Nike, and has seen a string of brick-built sneakers like the LEGO Nike Dunk x LEGO Set (43008)

The LEGO Nike AM95 sneakers capture the innovative design spirit that has been a hallmark of the brand since the 1990s. If they fit you, you probably weren't around at that time, but they're a fantastic piece of 90s nostalgia for Gen Alpha kids fascinated by Millennial fashion.

Air Max pedigree

These aren't just Nike Air Max sneakers in name only - the rubber outsole, foam midsole and visible Max Air units all give the LEGO Nike AM95 trainers that familiar bounce, with a classic pivot circle for extra traction underfoot.

Tip of the tongue

We like the simplicity of this set, which puts the brick-built Nike Air Max sneaker on display without too much distraction. The sneaker itself features the classic 'vintage' colourway of neon yellow, light graphite and black.

A cute bubbly 'Air' logo goes alongside the LEGO Nike Air Max sneaker, with the LEGO Nike Minifigure positioned mid-bounce on the layered blue and purple base. It's a set that has obviously been designed with plenty of care to give you an eye-catching LEGO Nike display.
