Start Your Engines, New LEGO Mario Kart Sets Coming January 2025
BUCKLE UP IT'S BRICKBUILT DRIFTING TIME
Most people have played at least one version of Mario Kart. It seems to be an unwritten rule that Mario Kart must be played if you have more than a couple of people in a room and a Nintendo console! It’s crazy to think that Mario Kart has been around for over thirty years and spawned many karting spin-off games, none of which quite hit the spot the same way Mario Kart did.
THE JOY OF KARTING
The first Mario Kart game launched in August 1992 (1993 in Europe) on the SNES, and over the last three decades, the game has seen many changes, including new tracks and characters. In 2017, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released. It sold over 60 million copies and has been the best-selling game of the series and one of the best-selling games of all time.
LEGO is increasing its Super Mario releases by adding LEGO Mario Kart to its Nintendo arsenal. Currently, there are six LEGO Mario Kart sets scheduled to release in January 2025, and these can be used alongside the LEGO Mario Interactive figures:
All of these are sold separately. The sets can also be played without the interactive aspect, which doesn’t diminish the entertainment.
Hold those shells and look at what these six LEGO Mario Kart sets entail.
