IOSS Update for EU Customers

iDisplayit has officially joined the IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) scheme, taking care of all your VAT and customs duties on purchases totalling less than £125.00.

What Does the IOSS Scheme Mean for My iDisplayit Purchases?

On 1st January 2021, the United Kingdom officially left the European Union. After this date, purchases made on our website could no longer include VAT. Customs, VAT and handling fees were charged on purchases shipped to EU countries. These charges varied depending on the EU country, causing confusion and unexpected additional costs outside our control.

Thanks to the new scheme, you can rest assured all taxes for purchases less than £125.00 will be included at checkout, with no hidden surprises on delivery. The £125 or less value is the total cost of your purchase including shipping. If you are unsure, you can always drop us an email and we can help with any questions you have.

How Much Does IOSS Cost?

As a customer, you do not pay anything towards the new scheme; we cover everything from our side. All your shipping costs will be confirmed at checkout, with the rest covered by the IOSS agreement our company has opted into.

It can be frustrating to pay additional costs on top of what you have already paid, so we wanted to find an easy solution to make smaller purchases less difficult while remaining compliant with VAT regulations.

When purchasing through our website, you now know exactly how much your shipping costs will be.

IOSS does not apply to business-to-business trade purchases.

What If My Total Purchase Costs More Than £125?

In this case, the IOSS agreement will not apply, and you will be eligible for any customs and VAT fees associated with your order. Local VAT, duties and admin fees will be collected by the courier when the order enters your country. These are separate from the shipping charges shown on our website.

We recommend confirming the costs in your origin country before you purchase, as they can change between EU member states.
