LEGO have revealed their latest gift-with-purchase in time for the spooky season – Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack 40608. The new mixed bag of LEGO pieces and elements offers a treasure trove of Halloween-themed pieces for adding some colour to existing builds and dioramas.

What Is the Release Date for Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack?

LEGO have not confirmed when the Halloween bricks pack will be available, but we assume it will be in early October in time for All Hallows Eve celebrations.

How Much Is the Halloween Add-On Set?

The Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack is priced at $9.99 on the US LEGO store. It has not appeared yet on the UK store, though we expect it to be in the region of £7.00 – £9.99.

The set will only be available to LEGO Insiders as a GWP add-on. Previous VIP add-on packs were available when customers spent over $50/£45, so we expect a similar spend will need to be reached.

This fun assortment of LEGO Halloween pieces includes spooktacular elements like orange bricks, pumpkins and foliage, in addition to plenty of other surprises. We can spot a skull head, witches’ cat, pumpkin pie, spider’s web, and plenty more – all handy accessories for adding seasonal flair to your favourite models. Interestingly, the name of the set references the now-retired LEGO VIP scheme, which has been replaced with LEGO Insiders.

A particularly exciting addition to the collection comes in the form of several classic purple astronaut helmets. These sought-after pieces currently fetch a high value on resale sites as they are coveted by Classic Space theme fans who want to create their own space minifigures in a retro style from the past. By including the helmets in the pack, the market cost of buying these popular accessories should be reduced as the available supply is boosted.
