New Range of Hasbro Indiana Jones Collectable Figures Released

Star Wars Celebration 2023 gave us far more than just a trip to a galaxy far, far away. Among the many exciting new LEGO/toy announcements was confirmation of Hasbro’s long-expected new series of Indiana Jones collectable 1/12 scale action figures to coincide with the new film (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny) and the franchise’s 42-year history.

The new 6-inch Adventure Series line was first announced in October 2022 at Hasbro Pulse Con, with a selected set of products based on characters from Raiders of the Lost Ark exhibited to eager convention attendees. Now, nine new figures from the other three films (including the upcoming franchise conclusion) have been revealed.

As a fun bonus, collectors who get their hands on all the new figures in the Adventure Series assortment will be able to assemble the separate pieces included in each pack into a replica Ark of the Covenant.

Hasbro René Belloq (Ceremonial) Action Figure

We love this 1:12 scale design of Indy’s rival archaeologist, complete with the epic ceremonial garb René Belloq wore while opening the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

There’s something wonderfully over-the-top about the clothing worn by the ill-fated archaeologist in this scene, which the model replicates perfectly. The staff is a welcome addition to this movie-inspired replica.

Hasbro Indiana Jones (Club Obi Wan) Action Figure

This film-accurate Indiana Jones model is styled on Indy’s appearance at the start of The Temple of Doom.

We’ve seen plenty of one-twelfth-scale action figures released showing Indiana in his classic adventure outfit, so it is nice to see something different in the form of the tuxedo worn at Club Obi Wan in Shanghai. We particularly like the inclusion of the skewered kebab, which Indy used to impale one of Lao Che’s goons.

Hasbro Sallah Action Figure

This 6-inch Adventure Series figure shows Egyptian excavator Sallah disguised as a digger as he seeks the lost chamber of the ark.

The quality, realism and entertainment-inspired design of these models is exquisite, and Sallah’s iconic character is replicated perfectly.

Hasbro Marion Ravenwood Action Figure

Marion Ravenwood was the plucky, no-nonsense daughter of Indiana Jones’ mentor.

The 40-plus-year legacy of the original Indiana Jones trilogy is honoured with a vivid model including premium detail and multiple points of articulation, highlighted by the image above, which shows Marion in a defensive pose with her trusty pan!

Hasbro Indiana Jones (Professor) Action Figure

This intriguing model shows Indy in his professor’s suit while exploring Venice for clues to the location of the Holy Grail and his father, Henry Jones Sr.

We are particularly excited by the inclusion of Richard’s shield, one of the two clue markers left by the Knights of the First Crusade. This movie-inspired accessory offers plenty of fun display options for collectors looking to create a Last Crusade diorama.

Hasbro Walter Donovan Action Figure

Walter Donovan was a flawed, ambitious American businessman who wanted to obtain the Holy Grail to achieve eternal life. In the end, the mythical relic took his life from him.

An entire generation were mentally scarred by the iconic shot where Walter quickly ages to skeletal dust, and we’re pleased to see that the set includes an optional ‘aged’ head to recreate this scene on display.

Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny Hasbro Action Figures

The Star Wars Celebration expo revealed four new figures due for release in the next wave of collectables: Indiana Jones (Dial of Destiny), Renaldo, Helena Shaw and Jürgen Voller.

The same wave will also see characters from other films such as The Temple of Doom released. Keep an eye out for updates!
